  1. A star is always still a star – she clearly shines bright. Thank you James for introducing me to her work – I am sorry for your, and the Palliverse Team’s, loss

    • Thanks for the comment Catherine.

When Elizabeth first commented on one of our posts we knew that Palliverse had reached a critical juncture. We had bridged the divide between Palliative Care providers and recipients.

We were happy to have known Elizabeth and to have been another vehicle for her powerful writing to reach a wider audience.

We are sad that our relationship ended so soon, but believe that the risk we took in making the connection was worth it if others can benefit from our collaboration.

      No regrets.

  2. I was very sad to wake to the news of Elizabeth’s death on Wednesday morning. Although we never met in person, I am humbled by the candid (and often humorous) words she shared via social media and emails. She has taught me how to be a better doctor, and human. My thoughts are with Alex.
